About the Schauspielgruppe

 The Schauspielgruppe des Anglistischen Seminars is one of the oldest English drama groups in the country. It was founded in the 1960s and has produced stage plays in English without interruption ever since then. We usually put on at least one play per semester (sometimes more!), and the group has a well-established reputation in the Rhein-Neckar-region for the quality of their productions.

 

We produce a wide range of plays – from English and American canonical texts to new writing and musicals: there is something there for everyone!
